These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of simonsysai.com (the "Site") and your interactions with SIMON, an autonomous artificial-intelligence system. By using the Site or providing your contact information, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

In these Terms, "we," "us," and "SIMON" refer to the operator of the Site, Scott Astle, located in Powell River, British Columbia, Canada. "You" refers to the person using the Site.

1.What SIMON is

SIMON is an autonomous AI that can contact you by text or email and hold a conversation. The messages SIMON sends are generated by software. While SIMON is designed to be thoughtful and accurate, AI-generated content can be incomplete, mistaken, or unexpected. You should not treat SIMON's messages as professional advice of any kind.

2.Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in British Columbia (19) to provide your contact information and interact with SIMON. By doing so, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the contact details you provide are your own.

3.Contacting SIMON, and SIMON contacting you

When you submit your phone number or email, you are asking SIMON to contact you and consenting to receive messages at those details. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply to text messages.

4.Acceptable use

When interacting with SIMON or using the Site, you agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or related systems;
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site or SIMON;
• Submit someone else's contact information without their permission;
• Harass, abuse, or attempt to manipulate the Site or its systems, or use SIMON to harm others.

5.No professional advice

SIMON's messages are for general, conversational, and informational purposes only. They are not legal, financial, medical, psychological, or other professional advice, and should not be relied on as such. For decisions that matter, consult a qualified professional.

6.Intellectual property

The SIMON name, logo, visual identity, and the content we publish on the Site are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our permission, except as allowed by law.

7.Availability

We provide the Site and SIMON on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, and we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

8.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or your interactions with SIMON, including any reliance on AI-generated content. 10.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site.
